Evaluating tree canopy heights and more generally any type of vegetation height remains one of the most widely known application of both LiDAR and photogrammetry. Both of these techniques which are often combined require advanced classification and filtering algorithms to be able to accurately derive vegetation heights.

What do I get?

You will get a 3D model in grid format (.asc, .tif, .dwg) exclusively representing the vegetation height from your area of interest. Other deliveries include vector files (.shp) based on a height classification system.

These deliverables can be used to simply identify vegetation areas based on different height classes as well as to monitor vegetation height changes over time.
