We continue our frequent upgrades to delair.ai and the latest release contains a wide range of exciting new features! Read on to learn more.
Receive email notifications on your analysis status
One of our key objectives is to make your use of delair.ai as efficient as possible and that means guiding you through the workflows and letting you know when there is new information on the platform. You can now launch your analytics and move on to other tasks while waiting for the analytics to finish. Once there’s a status update on your analysis, we’ll inform you by email, so you can react immediately.
To receive status updates on your analysis by email, go to settings, then click on all checkboxes that are relevant to you, and save your changes. Next time you launch your analytics, just keep an eye on your inbox for further updates.
Visualize a new elevation map
You can now give your map further depth and relief by activating a new hillshade layer on your DSM and DTM models. In addition to our existing slope shading layer, which allows you to see the change of elevation for each digital elevation model (DEM) cell, the new hill shading analysis reveals more terrain variation. It enhances the topographic shape of landform with shaded relief.
In addition, the visualization has been updated in order to better support low scale consultation and raster in feet CRS unit.
In this video, you will learn how to access the new shading layer. Activate your DSM model, click on “shading” on the lower right hand corner of your screen, and select “hillshading”.
Get better drawing and map manipulation tools
Drawing and creating annotations directly on your map are important for highlighting and sharing insights with your team. In a few simple clicks, you can tag your colleagues directly in delair.ai.
While we already had these features available, we decided to give our measure tools a new look and provide a little bit of guidance on how to use them. In this video, you will discover a more intuitive drawing panel that you can now freeze on your 2D map or photo gallery, as well as live shortcut tips at the bottom of the screen.
In addition, a new module to manipulate your map is now available, again in 2D and photo gallery views. Take a look at this video to see how easy it is to orientate your map.

Enjoy and stay in touch.
